Footnote a) applies when displaying NEDC consumption values and footnote b) applies when displaying WLTP consumption values:
a) The values stated were determined in accordance with the legally prescribed measurement procedure [Section 2 Nos. 5, 6, 6a Pkw-EnVKV as amended]. Since September 1, 2017, certain new cars have been type-approved according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a new, more realistic test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. As of September 1, 2018, WLTP has replaced the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), the previous test procedure. Because of the more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emission values measured according to the WLTP are in many cases higher than those measured according to the NEDC. The values shown for this vehicle type were determined using the new WLTP test cycle and converted back to NEDC for comparison purposes.

The values stated for this vehicle type were determined using the new WLTP test cycle.
Please note that since September 1, 2018, the values determined according to WLTP have been used as the basis for calculation for CO2 emissions-based taxes or levies. The data do not relate to an individual vehicle and do not form part of the offer, but are used solely for comparison purposes between the different vehicle types. Further information on the official fuel consumption and official specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the 'Guide to fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electricity consumption of new passenger cars', which is available free of charge at all sales outlets and from http://www.dat.de.
